An extra RefWorks training date has been arranged:

Attendance is free of charge but places are limited so you must register for this course:

• PhD students should use Queen’s Online
• Staff and masters students should use the online booking form

Are you just starting your thesis or dissertation? RefWorks is a software package that will store and manage your references and then produce your bibliography in whatever style you choose. Why not book a place on one of these general RefWorks courses:

NB.  An ability to search databases is a prerequisite of this course.

To register for a place, staff should contact Brenda Allen by email at b.a.allen@qub.ac.uk, while postgraduate students should register online through the postgraduate skills training programme.

At the latest RefWorks training course, we were asked about whether it is possible to convert references from an Excel or Word file and import them into your RefWorks Database.

The answer is ‘yes’ although it is a bit time consuming.   A full set of instructions can be found at:
